Old-Fashioned Pancake Recipe

These fluffy and light pancakes are great on their own or with things added!
  • 1½ cup flour
  • 3⅓ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon white sugar
  • 1¼ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tablespoons melted butter
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. In a small bowl, scramble together the milk, egg and butter
  3. Pour the egg mixture into the flour and stir until smooth*
  4. Heat a pan with some butter, and pour in a large scoop of batter. When small bubbles appear around edges and begin to pop, flip pancake and cook other side. Serve immediately
* If you intend to add in any flavors (such as blueberries, cinnamon, banana puree, chocolate chips, or strawberries) do it before continuing to the next step.
