I have always been a huge fan of fruit salads, and my mom always made some of the yummiest waldorf salads. Unlike most waldorf salads, it doesn’t include mayonnaise (because my mother hates mayo) and is actually a little on the sweet side, making it a really light treat for a hot summer day. It goes fantastic with BBQ chicken and makes a great side dish to bring to pot lucks as it is really easy to make.

Serves: 4 cups
Ingredients
- 2 apples, diced (any color, although I prefer 1 green, 1 red)
- ½ cup grapes
- 1 celery stalk
- ½ cup walnut pieces
- ½ cup mini marshmallows (optional)
- 1 tub whipped cream
Instructions
- Dice the apples, slice the large grapes in have and chop the celery
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl with a lid
- Add in the whipped cream and mix together
- Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving
